Who is behind AgentRank Checker?
AgentRank Checker is built by AgentRank, the people who build websites for real estate agents and got tired of watching AI answers skip right past them.
AgentRank Checker is built by AgentRank, a small team that builds websites for real estate agents and kept running into the same problem: a good-looking site that AI assistants could not read, and an agent who had no way to know. The checker is the tool we wanted to hand people before the first conversation, so it is free, it asks for nothing, and it shows its evidence.
Why build a checker instead of just fixing sites?
Because you cannot fix what you cannot see, and the AI view of a website is invisible from a browser. A page can look perfect and still hand an AI crawler a 403, an empty JavaScript shell, or a review section that loads through a widget and never reaches the HTML. Putting a number on that changes the conversation from opinion to evidence. The AIQ is deliberately quotable: one figure out of 100, one letter, one label, one sentence.
Who is behind it?
Jordan Kayle of Mtritt Design Team runs AgentRank and writes the plain-English copy you see on every report. The engine is plain PHP with no framework, which is a choice: it has to run on ordinary hosting for years without a rebuild. Every check stores the evidence it found, every report records the rubric version it was scored with, and the rubric itself is published on the checks page so nothing about the score is a mystery.
What does the checker stand on?
The published crawler documentation from OpenAI and Anthropic, the robots.txt standard, Princeton’s GEO research on what makes content citable, and the llms.txt proposal. On the real estate side it stands on the things that actually identify an agent to a machine: a license number in structured data, a brokerage on the page, an address that matches the schema, and community pages that name the places you sell in.
What comes next?
Three things are on the way: a PDF of every report, a Fix-It Guide with a how-to block for each failed check, and the AgentRank Certificate for sites that reach 90. If you would rather have the fixes done for you, that is the other thing AgentRank does.
